Robocop vs. Doomguy preview

The city, for the first time in years, is quiet and peaceful, with crime getting lower and lower thanks to the hard work of Detroit's most recent model of police cyborg.

However, while crime was on the run, the city would face a new threat. One never seen before...

In downtown, Delta City, a hellish portal of shadow and flame materialized into the world of the living. Worse still was that it was getting bigger. Needless to say, this attracted the attention of the authorities and the press, eager to either investigate the object or get first scoop on it.

As the cops and news reporters watched on, the portal pulsated like a living being. With an eerie silence, something emerged. Mentioned "something" was a man: a man who was heavily-muscled, appeared to be in his 40's, and was clad in green armor and a silvery, almost white, helmet.

Doomguy looked around the city and then at the people surrounding him. As one man came forward, the years of being sent to Hell and seeing his own comrades being taken over by hellish monsters, he hefted up a chaingun and, with a roar, mowed down the crowd with a hail of bullets, the crowd screaming in terror as they were shredded by the machine gun fire.

Officers arrived on the scenes, armed with the greatest weapons mankind had to offer, yet they were no match for the demon-slaying super-soldier.

Doomguy's rampage continued until, right there and then, Delta City decided to send in their number one. With a flashing red and blue and a wailing siren, a police car raced onto the scene of the crime where it screeched to a halt. The door swung open and a silvery-blue, metal foot stepped out. Out of the car came none other than Detroit's cyborg defender: Robocop.

On seeing Doomguy, he strode towards him in time to see his fellow cop get his head blown off by a shotgun.

"Freeze!" Robocop ordered, catching Doomguy's attention, "You are under arrest! Come quietly or there will be..." A compartment on Robocop's right leg opened up, showing his trademark Auto-9 handgun. He grabbed it and spun it a bit before pointing it at Doomguy before finishing his sentence "...Trouble."

Doomguy, not pleased at this...thing wanting him arrested, whipped out his own handgun and pointed it at Robocop before replying, "Screw you, tinman!"

"You're coming with me! Dead or alive." Robocop stated, his finger on the trigger finger.

Things were going down now.
